What is Salsa?
Salsa is one of the most popular Latin dances that is today practiced worldwide. The contemporary Salsa as we know it, On1 Salsa or Mambo On2 Salsa, evolved from several earlier Cuban dance forms, including Son, Son Montuno, Mamba, Cha Cha Cha, and was also enriched with Puerto Rican influences of dances Bomba and Plena.
What is Bachata?
Bachata is a style of Latin social dance that was born in the Dominican Republic in the 1960’s. Known for its love stories and syncopated rhythm--this lead and follow dance relies a lot on musicality. It has now branched into specific dance styles including Dominican, Sensual, and Modern/Urban Bachata.
What is Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a Latin dance which began in Brazil during the early 1990s. It originated from a Brazilian dance called Lambada with influences from other Brazilian dances. This dance style is world renowned.
Do I need a partner?
Nope, you can come in by yourself and will meet a lot of new people!
A majority of our students do not bring a partner.
What circle do I join if i have some dance experience?
If it is your first time at our studio, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to class starting to get you signed in, and to dance with an instructor who can place you in an appropriate belt level.
What is the appropriate attire?
For our classes, most students dress casual to snappy-casual. For our socials, we often dress semi-formal to formal, depending on the occasion.

For class, make sure to wear comfortable dance shoes and bring a water ( water also available for purchase).
What if it is my first time dancing ever?
We are so excited for you to try something new, that is one our biggest joys! We have day one, beginner subgroups at all our group classes.
Are Masks required?
We highly recommended those who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated, or unvaccinated to make a responsible decision for yourself when deciding to come to group classes or socials. This includes: masking, taking into account your own health history and the people you will be around, refraining from attending any of our events if you were in close contact with someone who is positive, and refraining from attending if you are feeling ill.
Can I pay at the door?
Absolutely! However we encourage you to download our app and purchase/ sign up for your class prior to coming to class for a very quick check in and to save money with our class passes.
Yes, we do have an app.
When you purchase online via our website you create an account through our app that allows for an easy and quick check in!

Download our app via Google Play or the AppStore.

Sign in with the same email and password you used to purchase your class online. Your account will pull up with your class credits.
On the day of class, have your app opened with the QR code on your app dashboard open for viewing and our front desk will scan it to check you in.
